Meet Leoni – nickname ‘Aunty Noni’
Passionate about animal welfare and building bonds with furry friends, founder Leoni Hogg started Barkin Walkies in 2022 after seeing how much joy and fulfilment her dog walker and sitter found in caring for Sunny, Leoni’s Siberian Husky.
After many years of working night shifts in the hospital, Leoni decided it was time for a lifestyle change — one that would allow her to spend more time with Sunny while pursuing a more rewarding path.
“Having a Husky taught me that walking dogs isn’t always easy. To bring out the best in your dog, you need time, patience, consistency, and understanding. I wanted to use everything I’d learned to help other people and their puppies and dogs thrive.”
